As a Snowmaker Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing the production of manufactured snow, ensuring that our slopes are always in top condition. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and snowmaking guns
  • Develop and implement snowmaking strategies to ensure optimal snow quality and coverage
  • Lead and mentor a team of Snowmakers to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that snowmaking operations are aligned with overall resort goals
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on snowmaking equipment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest snowmaking technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
