About the Role

Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily completion of routes by motivating and directing team members, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Team Management: Train, develop, and manage sales and service route drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Manage the flow of service requests to ensure customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner, and conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss their needs and expectations.
  • Operations Management: Conduct end-of-day check-ins and morning check-outs with drivers to ensure daily expectations are met, and fulfill duties of route driver when necessary.
  • Sales and Marketing: Identify opportunities to increase sales portfolio, and provide field coaching and sales training to route drivers to help them meet their sales targets.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all mandated paperwork and files are completed and organized, and follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Vehicle Operations: Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements, and observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
  • Class B CDL: Possess a valid Class B CDL and obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Leadership Experience: Have previous leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and achieving results.
  • Computer Skills: Have intermediate computer skills, with experience using software applications and systems.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Have excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
