OVERVIEW:
The Senior Audit Associate with Japanese proficiency will oversee daily audit operations for corporate clients under direct supervision and may take on audit in-charge responsibilities. This role is open to seasoned professionals requiring visa support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct audits of business transactions and cycles, including cash, receivables, fixed assets, and expense evaluations.
* Investigate audit issues utilizing audit software and databases.
* Assess financial statements and internal controls in accordance with accounting principles and auditing standards.
* Foster strong relationships with clients through effective collaboration.
* Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to adhere to client timelines.
* Supervise staff and manage engagement schedules effectively.
* Review accounting procedures and recommend enhancements to improve processes.
* Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bilingual in English and Japanese is essential.
* Minimum of 3 years of audit experience in a public accounting environment is required.
* A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is mandatory.
* Must be eligible to sit for CPA examinations.
* Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
