Position Overview:

The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research to design and enhance training programs, as well as developing suitable training curricula. This role involves instructing personnel through formal classroom sessions, workshops, seminars, and/or computer-based training, and may also include providing mobile training team events that encompass On-The-Job training both onsite and offsite. Additionally, the specialist will create and update training documentation, user manuals, and training strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and revise training materials and curricula to support C4ISR equipment/systems, particularly for CANES, CANES Subs, and ADNS programs.
  • Coordinate and contribute to project timelines for training activities.
  • Offer Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support during training sessions and assess responses to Casualty Report (CASREPs).
  • Utilize advanced knowledge to identify training requirements and propose enhanced training solutions in collaboration with military and government stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on the structure and enhancement of onsite and/or in-house training classes and seminars.
  • Stay updated on relevant and cutting-edge training trends and technologies.
  • Identify training deficiencies influenced by technical change packages.
  • Mentor and guide less-experienced trainers.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED & training certification.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a technical field such as electricity, electronics, surveying, or aircraft and ship fundamentals, which includes developing suitable course materials, hands-on practical experience with the techniques being taught, researching the latest practices in technical disciplines, identifying training needs, establishing goals and objectives, and formulating training programs.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $65.
