Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Margaritaville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest quality product reaches our guests and meets specifications.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings to ensure all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Assist in training new staff members within their department to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Assist management with motivating, developing, coaching, and counseling staff members to ensure the proper level of service is being provided to guests.
  • Visit all tables during every guest's meal to ensure guest satisfaction and consistent customer service.
  • Notify management of low inventory and recommend new inventory to ensure we have the necessary supplies to meet guest demands.
  • Assist with labor controls and assigning duties to staff members to ensure efficient operation of the venue.
  • Responsible for reporting any staff member issues to management and ensuring that all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
  • Responsible for comping and/or discounting guest checks when applicable.
  • Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training is maintained at all times.
  • Assist management with opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to staff members, including overseeing dining room set up and conducting a walk-through of the venue.
  • Ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
  • Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Education:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness certification required.
