About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our infant program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement a comprehensive infant program that aligns with Montessori principles and meets the unique needs of each child.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence, exploration, and learning.
  • Child Assessment and Progression: Regularly assess each child's progress and adjust the program as needed to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for our students and families.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in Montessori education and infant care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Hold a Montessori diploma or be willing to pursue certification through our Prepared Montessorian Institute.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants in a group setting, preferably in a Montessori environment.
  • Skills and Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori principles and practices.
