About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Montessori Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of our young toddler students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and understand the individual needs of each child, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain a beautiful and orderly environment that promotes independence, exploration, and deep learning.
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence in children by encouraging them to take ownership of their learning.
  • Provide lessons and activities that promote practical life skills, language, and social skills.
  • Form strong relationships with parents and communicate effectively to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting each child's development.
Requirements
  • A Montessori diploma for 0-3 or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-3 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any subject.
