Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is a vital role at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Labor and Delivery unit. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serving as a resource person for staff and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year acute care or specialty experience required.
  • Ability to build trust and act with authenticity to cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
  • Ability to lead others to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
  • FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
