We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Labor and Delivery Unit Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support during one of the most significant moments in their lives.

About the Role

As a RN Labor and Delivery Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to women in labor, as well as their newborns. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women in labor and their newborns
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care decisions
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
