About the Role

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a skilled RN Labor and Delivery unit nurse to join our team. As a nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support during one of the most significant moments in their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care to patients and their families, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and best practices.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida or compact licensure.
  • BLS and NRP certification.
