Job Title: Management and Strategy Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management and Strategy Consultant to join our team at Sprezzatura Management Consulting, LLC. As a trusted advisor to the VA's Office of Strategic Coordination (OSC), you will leverage your expertise in IT strategy to enhance the government's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise the OSC and CIO Strategy organization on the development and execution of the VA IT Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of processes that enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate strategic alignment across OIT service lines, ensuring that all activities are coordinated and aligned with CIO priorities.
  • Develop and communicate the value proposition of the IT Strategic Plan to ensure buy-in and understanding across the organization.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing processes and frameworks, driving enhancements that support the OSC's strategic goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a Performance Measurement framework, identifying the most effective Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Results Indicators (KRIs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure VA's strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business/strategic consulting or strategic planning with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and advise senior leadership.
  • Proven track record as a business consultant, with experience in guiding organizations through strategic planning, technology adoption, and development/implementation of a metric framework (OKRs, KRIs, and KPIs).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a history of delivering actionable insights through high-quality reports, whitepapers, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Work Location:

Hybrid role between remote work and 810 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Transitioning military and/or Veterans with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
