Laundry Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Technician to join our team at Montereau, a premier retirement community in Tulsa, OK. As a Laundry Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and ironing resident personal garments and community linens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process laundry according to departmental guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain laundry supplies and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Collect soiled laundry from designated areas and deliver clean laundry to designated areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests, responding to their questions and concerns.
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of commercial laundry experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, infection control procedures, and universal precautions.
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Effective verbal communication skills to provide quality customer service.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
