Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, and tile repairs to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guest rooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub to prevent breakdowns and ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Monitor energy conservation and repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as needed to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Respond to alarms, determine the cause, and report to the Front Desk to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager to support the overall success of the hotel.
Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required.
  • An acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific is required.
