Automotive Service Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Support Specialist to join our team at Elevation Chevrolet GMC. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a smooth workflow within our automotive service department, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
As an Automotive Service Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will involve greeting customers, safely transporting vehicles, and providing assistance to our technicians as needed. You will work closely with our team to keep the service area clean and organized, wash and detail vehicles as needed, and assist with administrative tasks such as completing paperwork.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression of our dealership.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Vehicle Movement:
- Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to and from the service bays, minimizing downtime and ensuring our customers' vehicles are ready for service when promised.
- Park vehicles in designated areas, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Shop Maintenance:
- Keep the service area clean and organized, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Wash and detail vehicles as needed, ensuring they are returned to our customers in excellent condition.
- Technician Assistance:
- Assist technicians with tasks such as retrieving parts or tools, supporting their efforts to provide timely and effective service.
- Perform basic cleaning and preparation of vehicles, ensuring they are ready for service.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Complete paperwork and other administrative duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ensuring our customers' vehicles are in good hands.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, demonstrating physical fitness and strength.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, providing a positive experience for our customers.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
