We are on the lookout for passionate individuals to fill the role of Archery Coaching Specialist. Our mission is to foster a love for archery among participants of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

The Archery Coaching Specialist will conduct engaging, hands-on archery sessions for a diverse audience. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive instruction on techniques such as body positioning, shot mechanics, and performance adjustments.
  • Providing positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to enhance student performance.
  • Assisting in the development of educational materials, including lesson plans, visual aids, and instructional handouts.
  • Supporting all Archery Academy events, including competitions, demonstrations, and leagues.
  • Encouraging participation in additional classes and promoting archery equipment sales to current students.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification (or equivalent) or be willing to obtain it.
  • Experience in teaching archery to both adults and children at an introductory level.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to prepare and dismantle the archery range before and after classes.
  • Commitment to enforcing safety protocols.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in instructing or leading youth aged 6 to 17.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
