  • Troubleshoot customer issues by referencing site electrical schematics, reviewing software configuration, and reproducing issues in the lab when necessary.
  • Monitor new Control System/Batch Plant startups, coordinating remotely with Field Service personnel on site, identifying problems, and proposing changes to improve outcomes.
  • Define Use Scenarios of Control System that need to be tested for in development, avoiding difficulties with control operations encountered by customers.

Requirements and Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required. Knowledge of toolsets and technologies such as Microsoft Visual Studio, C# programming, Microsoft.Net, and SolidWorks is an advantage. Familiarity with PLC-based control systems/PC-based supervisory systems, understanding of control system electronics, electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and great attention to detail and organization are also necessary.

Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment with occasional travel to customer sites for Control startups. While performing duties, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury and may occasionally work evenings and weekends to support customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
