Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
Job Description:
The Senior Control Systems Specialist will be part of our Concrete Batch Plant Control Systems product development team. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge of PLC and PC software, hardware, and electronics, as well as concrete batch plant operations.
The ideal candidate will provide technical support to customers, collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experiences, and define new product requirements for development. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot customer issues using site electrical schematics, software configuration, and reproducing issues in the lab.
- Maintain continuous learning on all capabilities of the Batch Plant Control System.
- Monitor new system startups, coordinating with Field Service personnel to identify problems and propose changes.
- Define Use Scenarios for testing to avoid control operation difficulties encountered by customers.
- Create end-user documentation, training material, and marketing content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems, PC-based supervisory systems, and SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
- Understanding of control system electronics, electric motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities.
