Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This role involves working within the Associate Travel Program and entails travel to various healthcare facilities.

Compensation
  • Weekly Salary: $2,322 - $3,216
Work Schedule

This position offers multiple shifts, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

The MRI Imaging Specialist will:

  • Utilize advanced imaging technology to capture detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately while selecting appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Conduct patient pre-screening, manage scheduling, and provide education regarding the imaging process.
  • Input and oversee patient data, ensuring the transfer of images to the appropriate media.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure the timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Assist in keeping the department organized and clean, including all related areas.
QualificationsLicensure and Certification
  • Current BLS Provider certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • One or more of the following credentials is required:
    • Cardiographic Technician certification from CCI.
    • Nuclear Medical Technician certification from NMTCB.
    • Radiologic Technologist certification in MRI from ARRT.
    • Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS.
    • Technologist certification in MRI from ARMRIT.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or four years of applicable experience.
