Compensation- Weekly Rate: $2,322 - $3,216
- Department: Associate Travel Program - MRI Tech
- Schedule: Flexible shifts available, totaling 40 hours per week
- Travel: Required travel to multiple locations exceeding 50 miles from residence
This is a permanent, full-time role comprising 8-13 week travel assignments. Compensation may vary based on location and specialty.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe MRI Imaging Specialist will:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring accurate selection of anatomical and technical parameters.
- Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and educational sessions regarding the examination process.
- Manage patient data, transfer images to magnetic media, and develop films using automated processors.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS.
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions.
- Keep the department organized and clean, including all procedure and storage areas.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- One or more of the following credentials required:
- Cardiographic Tech credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Nuclear Medical Tech credential from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI credential from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Medical Sonographer credential from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Technologist specializing in MRI credential from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
