Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Temperature Controls Estimator. This role involves accurately assessing costs to enable our organization to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our Building Automation Products and services to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
  • Prepare detailed Electrical Estimates, encompassing labor and installation materials for all assigned projects.
  • Select appropriate Building Automation Products and End Devices, estimating the necessary technical support labor for a comprehensive sales estimate.
  • Accurately complete all quotation forms utilizing the established pricing structure for labor, materials, equipment rental, subcontractors, profit, and overhead.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Agent to secure the lowest possible costs for all major quoted equipment and materials.
  • Consult with the Operations Manager to review manpower availability, ensuring competitive bidding rates.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in facilities or HVAC services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping design, estimating, and sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical and financial acumen.
  • Adept at business development, with a passion for networking and participating in industry events.
  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of modern technologies.
