Job Summary

U.S. Tsubaki is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Line Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assembly line equipment, performing changeovers, and maintaining the quality of automotive timing chains and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate assembly line equipment, including roller link assembly, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation checking, center distance measuring, automatic cutting, and endless operation, washing, final inspection, and packing.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and apply oil or grease to specified areas.
  • Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand alarm messages and identify issues.
  • Maintain production schedules, quality control records, chain assembly records, shipping charge numbers, and traceability records.
  • Prepare test samples for quality control and record production data.
  • Utilize a machine-monitoring system to record downtime.
  • Detect faulty operation or defective material and report to the group leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow standard safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Safety First mindset.
  • Strong focus on Quality.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
