Job Title: Automatic Assembly, Set Up & Operate

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Line Operator to join our team in Chicopee, MA. As an Assembly Line Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating, changeovers, adjusting assembly line to assemble Automotive Timing Chain and Components, following established work standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate assembly line equipment to assemble Automotive Timing Chain and Components
  • Perform changeovers and adjustments to maintain production schedules
  • Use statistical quality control methods to maintain quality of components and timing chain
  • Work to specifications, schedules, orders, and general instructions of the department group leader or supervisor
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift
  • Apply oil or grease to specified areas and confirm operability of all detectors
  • Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand alarm messages and identify issues
  • Adhere to work standards and maintain production schedules, quality control records, and chain assembly records
  • Prepare test samples for quality control and record production data
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance
  • Safety First mindset
  • Strong focus on Quality
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks
  • Basic Computer Skills
