Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Material Coordinator to join our team at Spectrum Health System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in equipment, materials, linens, and supplies for an assigned area. This includes inventory management, selection, stocking, receiving, delivering, and other similar functions to ensure supplies and materials are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to receive and deliver materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
