About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for delivering exceptional food preparation services and who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and assign daily work activities to staff, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Train and guide staff on job duties, standard food safety procedures, and cooking methods to ensure consistent high-quality results.
  • Cook and prepare food following production guidelines and standardized recipes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items, adhering to established protocols.
  • Safely use all food utensils, including knives, and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc., with precision and care.
  • Bake, roast, broil, steam, and employ various cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods, showcasing creativity and expertise.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines, ensuring visual appeal and customer satisfaction.
  • Properly store food, following strict food safety policies and procedures to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Maintain excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and others, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Follow Aramark's safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the security of company assets and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Produce and maintain accurate work schedules and production records, providing valuable insights for future improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred.
  • Experience as a cook or related role required.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision required.
  • Proven knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
  • Food safety certification required.
  • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position ranges from $21 to $21, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). In an at-will position, Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
