Insight Global is seeking a Client Services Representative to support the Futures & Options division.

This role involves direct interaction with clients and internal departments concerning trade commissions, client inquiries, trade discrepancies, and brokerage fees.

The success of our business hinges on the effectiveness of this team in managing client relationships and providing accurate information, making attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills essential.

Each day presents unique challenges influenced by market conditions and client demands, with the primary objective of mitigating market risk. This is a mid-level position, filling a vacancy left by a full-time employee on extended leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for client inquiries related to trades, positions, lifecycle events, commissions, and product offerings.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for clients, conducting research and liaising internally to resolve client queries and escalations.
  • Function as an escalation point for both clients and internal teams to facilitate resolutions on critical initiatives.
  • Coordinate client outreach to understand their intentions regarding trade dates, particularly for physically settled contracts and options expirations.
  • Manage client requests for additional access to the Mercury portal.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Marketing team to keep them informed of client concerns and product requests, tracking these through internal databases.
  • Conduct regular meetings with priority clients to discuss performance metrics, outstanding issues, and strategic industry focus areas.

Meetings should encompass a comprehensive view of the operational aspects of the relationship, including Product, Collateral, Brokerage, and Clearing.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Client Service Relationship Managers to prioritize client issues, ensuring they are updated in internal systems.
  • Encourage clients to utilize self-service options on the portal, aiming to reduce manual processes and accommodations.
  • Keep client profiles, procedures, and contact information current.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with extensive backgrounds.
  • Strong knowledge of markets, particularly in Futures & Options.
  • Experience within a large financial institution.
  • Familiarity with the trade allocation process.
  • Exposure to GMI systems is advantageous.
