Overview:

This role is dedicated to delivering comprehensive training on equipment and modules to both employees and clients. The successful candidate will implement maintenance training programs that align with EVG standards, focusing on customer equipment. Collaboration with the EVG Academy team is essential for the development and documentation of new training topics.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this position, the individual must effectively manage the following primary responsibilities:

  1. Conduct training sessions for internal and external clients on EVG equipment.
  2. Provide technical support for local training equipment.
  3. Plan and prepare technical courses tailored for various audiences.
  4. Oversee course completion tracking and gather customer feedback through our learning management system.
  5. Develop training materials addressing local challenges and issues.
  6. Coordinate with the Documentation team to modify training content and assist with new procedures.
  7. Monitor all Field Service Engineer (FSE) training sessions and organize module training for new FSEs.
  8. Assess the onsite knowledge of FSEs and create additional training plans as necessary.
  9. Work independently while mentoring and providing technical assistance to onsite FSEs.
  10. Occasionally support service and installations at various customer sites to stay updated on new equipment and software features.

Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:

  1. An associate or bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with EVG equipment or 6-10 years of experience in the installation and repair of semiconductor or electronic production equipment.
  2. Extensive experience in operating and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing machinery or similar systems.
  3. Proficient in English with strong organizational, communication, rhetorical, and didactic skills, complemented by high social competence.
  4. Experience or education as a trainer in a technical environment is preferred.
  5. Ability to qualify maintenance staff based on standard procedures and onsite challenges.
  6. Familiarity with customer equipment and processes is essential.
  7. Assist in establishing a unified understanding and working procedures across various teams.

Physical Requirements:

  1. This position requires the ability to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary, and the individual must frequently use hands to handle objects and tools.
  2. Must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and work in a cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time.
