Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join their team in University Park, PA. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior staff in various construction management tasks, including project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Conduct site visits to observe construction activities and take notes on progress, quality, and safety.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Participate in project meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed at least one year of study.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working for a large general contractor.
  • Relevant internship experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Exposure to construction-based computer programs.
