Position Summary:

The Heavy Civil Superintendent will oversee heavy civil construction projects and manage field personnel throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires extensive knowledge of structural concrete to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Key Duties:

  • Emphasize safety protocols on-site
  • Examine and execute construction project documentation
  • Assist in managing workforce and equipment
  • Maintain precise construction records
  • Travel to various sites using company vehicles
  • Interpret and analyze construction plans
  • Supervise structural concrete operations
  • Verify all necessary documentation
  • Ensure quality control during installations

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent
  • OR a minimum of 5 years as an Assistant Heavy Civil Superintendent
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field with 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer
  • Familiarity with project management software; Procore experience is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
