Position Information:
The Clinical Assistant - Patient Care provides administrative support to patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The four key concepts of PFCC are: Dignity and Respect = Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices; Information Sharing = Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful; Participation = Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose; Collaboration = Patients and families and the Clinical Assistant - Patient Care collaborate in the delivery of care. This role understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Healthcare Experience Preferred

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or College Courses in Nursing Assistant Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Nurse Aide I Certification Required

Hours of Work:
7:00 pm - 7:00 am; 2 nights a week

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
