We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at NorthPoint Search Group Inc. in the metro Atlanta area.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Job Summary

The HR Generalist will perform duties at the professional level in several key areas, including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Management Coaching, Training and Development, Employment, Affirmative Action and Employment Equity program, Benefits Management, Payroll Management, and Legal Compliance.

This role requires a self-driven individual with excellent communication skills who can build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and 5-6 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator in a manufacturing environment.

Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain employee documentation and track employee disciplinary action.
  2. Partner with Plant Manager on personnel decisions.
  3. Maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  4. Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of the generalist function.
  5. Counsel and guide managers on employee relations matters.
  6. Maintain unemployment notices and potential charges.
  7. Assist with recruitment tasks and monitor tardiness and absenteeism reports.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
  • 5-6 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills.
