About the Role

This position is a Deputy Compact Administrator for the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) within the Child and Family Services Division of the State of Montana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulate the placement of certain children into parent, relative, foster care, residential care, and adoptive placements across state lines.
  • Manage program management practices and principles to ensure effective implementation of ICPC regulations.
  • Negotiate and manage conflicts related to child placement.
  • Conduct research, evaluate information, and implement procedures to ensure compliance with ICPC regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, education, business, or human services related field.
  • Three years of program management experience in child protection services, licensing, or adoption.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
