Position Overview:

As a Strategic Professional Services Consultant I at Fiserv, you will take on the role of a Portfolio and Program Manager within the Professional Services team in the Digital Payments sector.

Your responsibilities will include spearheading strategic client-facing initiatives that encompass multiple workstreams while overseeing essential internal projects vital for the success of the team, division, and clients.

In this pivotal leadership position, you will act as a primary escalation point for both internal and external stakeholders, manage high-level communications, and collaborate with various teams and leaders across Fiserv.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead significant client-focused team initiatives, taking ownership as a Portfolio Manager.
  • Oversee strategic internal projects that are crucial for team, division, and client success.
  • Establish success metrics, ensure alignment across business units, and drive towards desired outcomes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of all initiatives, monitor key risks, and report on mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate program updates and statuses to executives and partners, managing related projects effectively.
  • Develop and sustain KPIs and detailed dashboards to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in program management or relevant consulting roles.
  • A strong leadership presence with a proactive approach towards action, change, and results.
  • Proficient program management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives and conduct risk assessments.
  • The capability to navigate across organizations and provide clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Above-average financial and business acumen complemented by strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

It would be advantageous to have:

  • Experience in payment processing, particularly in real-time transaction environments.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv's account processing, digital banking, mobile banking, and payment solutions.
  • Experience in delivering software solutions to demanding clients across diverse geographical locations.
  • The ability to mentor and guide associates towards achieving exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
