Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiothoracic Surgery

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Sentara Heart Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care in the perioperative setting, ensuring best practices are implemented for cardiothoracic surgery patients throughout all phases of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care in the cardiac operating room and intensive care unit
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and program effectiveness
Requirements:
* Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
* Authorization to Prescribe License in applicable state(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least two years of advanced practice experience in an acute care clinical setting
* Critical care and operative background preferred
