About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Program Manager to join our Cloud Infrastructure team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative product solutions that shape the future of large-scale infrastructure.

You will partner with diverse teams across Apple to provide groundbreaking infrastructure that operates at substantial scale, utilizing open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, along with proprietary systems.

Our team is fast-paced, with high-reaching goals, a large user base, and the autonomy to build the future of native Cloud infrastructure for all of Apple.

Teams across Apple rely on us for infrastructure that helps them build services that scale globally, are highly available, and just work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Cloud native Infrastructure programs
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
  • Agile project experience with evidence and ability to demonstrate knowledge of SCRUM background and/or played the role of a Scrum Master is a plus
  • Prioritize features, and technical road maps
  • Deliver large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Process re-engineering experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous end-to-end infrastructure, technical projects, and partner community comprising of various engineering teams and their partners
  • Experience at end-to-end project delivery; building roadmaps through to operational sustainability
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress, and status meetings)
About You

You are an ambitious individual who is proactive and able to work under minimal supervision at a detailed level while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.

Can you coordinate multiple projects across multiple locations? We need someone with excellent written and interpersonal skills who pays attention to the details and is highly organized.

You have experience running a complex set of software deliverables with many interdependencies and have a successful track record being a phenomenal partner within teams and across organizations in engineering, design, and leadership.

What We Offer

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

We also offer comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
