Job Description

The Account Manager, SaaS Sales at Commvault is responsible for self-generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new/existing business and achieving individual sales quotas.

This is a full sales cycle role that requires the successful candidate to seek and find new prospects, progress with leads from channel and marketing, up-sell into existing install and close the deals in the defined territories (list of SMB accounts).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and prospecting (cold/warm call) within the assigned territory.
  • Upsell and Cross-sell the client base
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations and product/service demonstrations
  • Assist in crafting RFP responses to potential clients.
  • Support marketing and channel efforts like tradeshows, partner events etc.
  • Overcome objections and deliver an individual sales quota.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
  • Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science or technology
  • Be able to drive to the Fort Lauderdale office four days a week.
  • Understanding of Commvault products/industry will be a big plus.
  • Ideally, experience with Microsoft Office, SFDC and (or other Customer Engagement Platform)

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$51,000 - $146,100
