Overview

We are seeking an experienced Catering Sales Executive to join our team at Marriott. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, building successful relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Salary
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $$32.95-$40.59. Job Description
This Catering Sales Executive role requires the ability to handle social and local corporate catering opportunities that are above the parameters of the Group Sales teams within the Sales Office and come directly to the property (e.g., 150 covers and above). The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional fields.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional.
OR
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in catering sales and knowledge of the overall market (e.g., competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc.).
