Role Overview:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will execute respiratory procedures under the guidance of physicians across various patient settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Implementing and evaluating therapy plans as necessary
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Utilizing your understanding of diverse patient backgrounds to deliver effective care while supporting the organization's vision and mission.
Your Contributions:
As part of our team, you will:
- Administer respiratory care procedures in various settings, including general, acute, and emergency care
- Perform therapeutic interventions such as patient monitoring and medication delivery
- Conduct diagnostic tests including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, and more
- Assist in emergency situations by providing airway management and cardiac support
Qualifications Required:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program
- Current CRT credential from the N.B.R.C.
- State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) within six months of hire
