Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the ICU or PCU setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in critical care.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
