We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Therapy Team at UNC-Hospitals in Hillsborough, NC.

About the Role

This Per Diem position will offer therapy services within a variety of acute care patient populations at our Hillsborough Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experienced therapists focused on post surgical orthopedic and medicine patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including post surgical orthopedic and medicine patients.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of two weekend days per month.
