Job Summary

About the Role

As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, conducting new hire orientations, and processing paperwork related to new hires, terminations, and promotions. You will also assist with employee relations initiatives, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database, including personal information, employment history, and benefits enrollment.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for hourly employees and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Process paperwork related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status.
  • Assist recruiter with employee and temp hire dates and notify supervisors.
  • Process new hire and replacement badges.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Prepare reports and documents for HR management as needed.
  • Support employee relations initiatives by assisting with employee events, recognition programs, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Scans and files documents and maintains employee files.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months or more of related experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Volt Workforce Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $20-$25 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, we offer benefits, including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
