In this capacity, you will lead and engage your team during their shifts, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

Your role will also be crucial in meeting customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and timely.

Our operational workflow consists of three key phases: First mile (where products are stored and prepared for orders), Middle mile (where orders are transported to your area), and Last mile (where products reach the customer's doorstep).

While workflows may have slight variations, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering.

Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) is an innovative segment within Amazon, focused on enhancing the speed and efficiency of deliveries to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support, mentor, and inspire team members.
  • Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to customer delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Operations Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources, to develop strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds, and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, while frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, as well as climbing and descending stairs.
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor loading areas and refrigerated environments).
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and overnight shifts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of leadership experience in a retail, distribution, or similar setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Capability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, with potential overtime as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience managing a team of 10 or more employees or over 1 year of direct management experience.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen).
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
