Job Title: Medical Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Tri County Foot & Ankle. As a Medical Assistant Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, and ensuring a smooth front office experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Check-in patients and obtain correct insurance information and patient demographic
  • Secure all referrals needed
  • Collect Co-pays, insurance deductible, outstanding balances, and Co-insurance as applies
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule Appointments
  • Coordinate Front Desk Activities and Medical assistance
  • Obtain authorizations for all procedures
  • Prepare for next day
  • Coordinating hospital schedule for surgeries

Requirements:
  • Bilingual preferred Spanish
  • Previous experience in medical field is a must, preferred podiatry
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
