About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Karl T Chen's busy internal medicine medical office. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional patient care and office efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with various tasks, such as preparing patients for exams, obtaining medical histories, and documenting patient information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and medical histories.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting highly desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
