Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Heatcon Inc. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing sub-assemblies, such as heat blankets and accessories, in accordance with job orders, customer requests, and manager instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components to produce sub-assemblies in accordance with provided documentation and standard shop procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, including work orders and time clock punches.
- Document and account for all materials used and time expended.
- Verify bills of materials to reflect actual parts used or configuration changes.
- Three months of related assembly or sewing experience and/or an assembly certificate or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Working knowledge of soldering techniques and ability to read a ruler and schematics.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple instructions and effectively relay information one-on-one to other employees and management.
The Assembly Technician will work in a combination of usual office conditions and production area. Some elements in the production area may be present which make conditions less desirable than usually found in an office setting.
