Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team at Kaiser Permanente in Harbor City, California. As a Level III Staff RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading the health care team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Lead the health care team in a collaborative and supportive manner, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
Requirements
  • 1 year of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy or a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in adult critical care or procedural sedation.
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Basic Life Support
