Emergency Department Care Specialist

St. Clair Health is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical and patient care activities, with a focus on delivering exceptional care in the Emergency Department. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with clinical and patient care activities under the supervision of the Manager
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
* Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Current certification to practice as a paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
* Completion of an approved medical assistant training program
* Three years of equivalent clinical work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Two years of direct patient care experience
* Phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (EKG) experience
* Emergency Department and/or pre-hospital care experience
