We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at West Penn Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses to promote professional growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
- At least two years of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: Certification in emergency nursing or a related specialty.
