Emergency Department Support Specialist

At St. Clair Health, we are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will assist with clinical and patient care activities under the supervision of the Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clinical and patient care activities in the Emergency Department.
  • Provide support to the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient department operations.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current certification to practice as a paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of direct patient care experience.
  • Phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (EKG) experience.
  • Emergency Department and/or pre-hospital care experience.
