Hotel Night Audit Coordinator

As a Night Audit Guest Services Representative at Niobrara Lodge, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests and manage all aspects of their accommodation. This role involves running reports, updating systems, and performing various audit functions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Manage online and phone reservations, providing accurate information and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data to ensure secure transactions.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival, assign rooms, and provide information about our hotel's amenities.
- Respond to guests' inquiries in a timely and professional manner, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' requirements.
- Tend and fold laundry when needed, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, including wedding guests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate, enhancing the guest experience and increasing revenue.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Run reports and auditing systems to close out the day, providing valuable insights and data for future improvements.
- Work experience as a hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, Night Audit, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience with property management software is a plus, allowing you to effectively manage reservations and operations.
- Understanding of travel planning websites, such as Booking and TripAdvisor, is essential for providing informed responses to guests' inquiries.
- A strong desire to learn and develop is crucial for success in this role, as you will be responsible for continuously improving processes and procedures.
- Customer service attitude and excellent communication and organizational skills are vital for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Degree in hospitality-related field is an asset, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the industry.
- Willingness to work over nights, weekends, and holidays is required, as you will be responsible for managing the lodge during these periods.
This position is currently accepting applications. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
