Job Summary:

Maintains exceptional standards of guest service and operational excellence to ensure the company's mission is consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Management: Effectively manages shifts to ensure quality products, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness meet company standards.
  • Guest Experience: Ensures guests receive high-quality products within the specified time frame, promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Quality Control: Maintains proper product quality control, presentation, and hold times according to the Operations Manual.
  • Financial Management: Accesses financial information and completes weekly sales and labor reports during their shift.
  • Team Development: Routinely monitors and coaches team members on safety best practices, empowers them to handle guest comments, and ensures they are knowledgeable about products and guest service.
  • Leadership: Demonstrates a positive attitude among team members, maintains an adequate team on each shift, and ensures proper follow-up of visitation and full field reports.
  • Inventory Management: Completes food inventory orders accurately, observes and maintains daily inventory levels, and ensures shelf life and rotation of inventory.
  • Restaurant Maintenance: Delegates and ensures the accurate completion of the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist and First In-First Out product rotation, and directs weekly and monthly odd jobs to team members.
  • Communication: Attends all manager and team member meetings, checks the company's internal communication system twice daily during each shift, and responds as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: College graduate with a degree in hotel and restaurant management or equivalent experience. Certified from a national food safety program.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Characteristics: Ability to effectively organize work, communicate well, and be management-oriented. Knowledgeable in all aspects of business and demonstrates good judgment. Demonstrates an energetic, positive attitude that is contagious.
  • Compensation: Salary is commensurate with person's qualifications and reflects the present market for a person of similar responsibilities.
